Northern Star - Unlicensed Troller

The Northern Star is a 41' 2" wooden combination troller, longliner fish boat. Build in 1959, in North Surrey BC, the boat was purchased from the original owner in 1984. It has always been insured by Mutual Marine Insurance. The fish hold is well insulated and fibre glassed. In addition there are two removable bait boxes insulated and fibre glassed in the stern, and an 11 cubic foot insulated food chest on deck.


Jaana N - Halibut Longline with quota

The Jaana N is a 53' wooden longliner. Built in 1978, this well maintained vessel comes with an L license and approximately 3750 pounds of halibut quota. The 8LXB Gardner main engine provides economical performance at a cruising speed of 8 knots.

With an aluminum longline drum, baiting claim, insulated hold and bait hatch, the Jaana N is ready to fish and easily packs 40,000 pounds of iced halibut.


Possibility - 41' Deltaga

Ivory Gull II - Prawn licensed Tristar

The Ivory Gull II is a 42' Prawn licensed fibreglass freezer troller. This beautiful Tristar is not only in top condition but has a young heart. The main engine, a John Deere 6081 and the transmission, Twin Disc 509, were installed brand new in 2004. At that time the new, very efficient Walters Cupernickel keel cooling system was also installed, along with a new shaft. This dependable boat will provide worry free fishing for many years to come.

The Ivory Gull II has a freezer hold capacity of 18 - 20,000 pounds and was fitted with new Parker variable speed and Cessna hydraulic pumps in 2005, which can run the freezer system from the main or auxiliary engine.


Nonsuch II - 42' Tristar

The Nonsuch II is a 42' fibreglass freezer troller. This is a beautiful and well maintained Tristar, with a proven track record in the BC fishery. The Nonsuch has a hold capacity of 18,000 pounds of frozen salmon, or 20,000 pounds of iced halibut. The Carrier O5GA compressor was new in 2006 and is capable of freezing 3,000 pounds per day. Many other equipment upgrades have been carried out in recent years.


MJ - Unlicensed fibreglass ex-gillnetter

The MJ is ready to go as a gillnetter, or it would make a great sport fisher. She has a semi-displacement hull, is easy on fuel and in good shape. The Isuzu diesel burns 2.5 gallons per hour at 8 knots or 1.5 gph at 6 knots.

Zapora - 62' Tuna and Halibut with C Licence

62' wooden classic halibut longliner. This vessel has a long history in the BC longline fishery and has undergone many upgrades in recent years. Built in Prince Rupert in 1925, the Zapora had her new aluminium wheelhouse and baiting claim added in the mid 1970's.

In 2000 she had the hold re-insulated and freezing added when she was converted for the tuna jig fishery. The Zapora is well suited for tuna, halibut, the integrated groundfish fishery, salmon or packing.

She is a heavy construction vessel that has been very well maintained, active in the fishery, has an excellent reputation and is well known on the coast. The Zapora comes with numerous spare parts and a 62' C Licence with 6 years of American and Canadian tuna landings.


Pacific Schooner - 37' Salmon Troll and Prawn

The Pacific Schooner is a 37' Deltaga with salmon troll (ATH) and Prawn (W) licenses. This boat is in very good condition, is Mutual insured and has a reliable, fuel efficient Gardner diesel engine.

The fish hold was refoamed and fibreglassed in 1996, and had a new shaft, shaft tunnel and bearings installed in 2001. She was also fitted with a new Osborne propellor in 2004.

The Pacific Schooner is offered for sale as a package including both salmon and prawn licenses, and all troll and prawn gear.
